Sue has been Flutes & Co's Musical Director since 2016. Sue studied flute at Lancaster University with Maria Raynor and Rachel Holt from RNCM. This is the 3rd flute choir she has directed, the others being Tutti Flutti in Hereford and the Scottish Borders Community Orchestra flute choir in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Sue plays flute and piccolo in the Westmorland Orchestra and calls and plays for Rascal Fayre Ceilidh Band. She also works as Development Manager for Rookhow, a Quaker charity in South Lakes.
