Hear us play

Flutes & Co, Cumbria's flute orchestra is thriving at almost thirty years old. The group is led by Musical Director Sue Nicholls and boasts almost 40 members from primary school students to the retired, Grade 3 to post-diploma, spanning a forty mile radius from our Kendal base. 

We perform in three concerts per year: Summer; Christmas; and a joint performance with Glasgow's flute choir, Flutes Unlimited in which we alternate between Cumbrian venues and those in the Central Belt of Scotland.  We add further performance and fun playing opportunities with a pop up Christmas Carol Concert at Rydal Cave and outdoor semi-spontaneous events across Summer.
